Overview
Mission
Torrit is a graphical user interface based power system simulation tool. It is aimed at helping power system engineers and researchers perform standard operations of the control room like state estimation, contingency analysis, economic dispatch, unit commitment, market analysis etc.
Products
As of July, 2020, there are two products available for use. The first one executes per unit computations, power flow analysis, and state estimation (Beta version of Base edition). The second one is a case building tool for MATPOWER, a well known software for power systems. It creates the case files which can be directly used in MATPOWER.
Future Plans
Torrit is an ongoing project and new features such as economic dispatch, unit commitment, energy market analysis tools are planned for future release. Depending on the availability of funds and the corresponding expectations of the clients, new products will be developed.
